A free online photo booth for any party
Turn any iPad, phone or laptop into a party photo booth. Guests tap Start, pose for four photos with a countdown, pick a frame and take home a photo strip with your party name on it. Free, no app, no sign-up, and only the finished strip is shared, and it is deleted after 30 days.
How it works
- Open this page on the device you want to use as the booth. The booth is at the top of the page.
- Allow the camera. Type your party name if you want it on the strip.
- Tap Start. The booth counts down 3, 2, 1 and takes four photos.
- Pick a frame. Every frame shows your own photos, so you can compare them before choosing.
- Save or share the strip to Photos, Messages or AirDrop, or download it.

Frequently asked questions
Is the photo booth really free?
Yes. Every frame is free to use, there is no sign-up, and there is no watermark on your photo strip.
Do I need to download an app?
No. The booth runs in the web browser. Open this page in Safari or Chrome on an iPad, iPhone, Android phone or laptop, allow the camera, and press Start.
What happens to my photos?
The four photos are taken and turned into a strip on your device. Only the finished strip is uploaded, when a guest reaches the share screen, so the QR code and email can work. It sits under a private link that is not listed anywhere and is deleted after 30 days. Guests can also skip the QR code and save straight to their device.
How do I set it up at a party?
Stand an iPad or tablet at eye level on a stand or a stack of books, plug it in, and open the booth. Guests tap Start, pose for four photos with a 3-second countdown before each, pick a frame and save their strip. On an iPad you can turn on Guided Access so guests stay in the booth.
What size is the photo strip?
A classic 2 by 6 inch strip at 600 dots per inch (1200 by 3600 pixels), with four photos stacked and your party name and the date at the bottom.
